Azat ((アルメニア語:Ազատ), also Romanized as Azad; until 1935, Aghkilisa, meaning ''White Church'') is a small village in the Gegharkunik Province of Armenia. The village has a heavily ruined 11th century church and a pair of medieval khachkars. Azat was also the birthplace of the celebrated Azeri folklore poet Ashig Alasgar (Ashug Alesker) (1821-1926).〔 (Who is who (in Azerbaijani) ) 〕 All of the ethnic Azeri inhabitants of Azat fled to Azerbaijan in 1988-89 during the course of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. == References == * * * 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Azat, Armenia」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
